Kathleen A. Bassett is a powerhouse entrepreneur, real estate broker, and investor whose career spans decades of success across real estate, finance, and international investment strategy. As Co-Founder of DK Global Investments and Broker/Owner of Shoreway Realty Group, a dynamic international real estate investment firm based in Ohio City, Kathleen brings unmatched energy, vision, and precision to every deal she touches—turning opportunities into legacies and empowering others to do the same.
With deep roots in the mortgage industry, Kathleen owned and operated multiple mortgage brokerage locations in both Ohio and Florida, and was licensed in 42 states—building one of the most respected marketing and operations teams in the business. Her leadership was not only profitable but people-focused, mentoring young professionals and fueling the growth of women across the industry. Her experience includes managing a diverse portfolio of international clientele and closing high-level, off-market deals that have long made her one of the most trusted names in Northeastern Ohio real estate. For years, she has ranked in the top 5% of agents in the region—though her impact reaches far beyond the numbers.
Her entrepreneurial spirit goes beyond real estate—Kathleen is also the holder of a U.S. patent for a fencing technology, a testament to her inventive mind and drive to solve problems creatively.

Dajana Taylor is a dynamic entrepreneur, investor, and marketing strategist with a proven track record across multiple industries, including energy, real estate, and private equity. As Co-Founder of DK Global Investments, she plays a pivotal role in identifying and executing high-impact investment opportunities that drive growth and create value for clients and communities alike.
Dajana began her career in the oil industry, where she honed her skills in operations and business development. Her early experiences laid a strong foundation for her subsequent ventures, allowing her to navigate complex markets and build successful enterprises. Her transition into real estate and investment was marked by strategic foresight and a commitment to excellence.
In her role as Director of Marketing at Shoreway Realty Group, Dajana leads initiatives that enhance brand visibility and market reach. Her innovative approach to marketing and client engagement has contributed significantly to the firm’s reputation as a leader in Cleveland’s real estate sector.
Beyond her corporate endeavors, Dajana is deeply committed to mentorship and community development. She leverages her experience working with top athletes in the NBA and NFL to offer financial guidance and investment strategies tailored to their unique needs. Fayad M Khatib
Fayad M. Khatib is an accomplished executive and strategic advisor with over 30 years of international experience spanning business development, operational leadership, and investment management across diverse sectors including real estate, hospitality, healthcare, technology, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing. Currently, he serves as Equity Partner at DK Global Investments and Senior Advisor at M Capital Group, where he drives transformative value creation, strategic capital deployment, and global advisory initiatives for a broad spectrum of partners and stakeholders.
Mr. Khatib is the Managing Director at Gulf International Consultancy, leading digital transformation and international investment projects with a focus on secure digital solutions and intellectual property development. Previously, as Chief Development Officer at Alfardan Group, he spearheaded global business development, investment assessment, and operational oversight, delivering significant growth and profitability across multiple divisions. His leadership was instrumental in leading multimillion-dollar initiatives and spearheading cross-sector growth strategies, turning around divisions and securing landmark projects including the development of a state-of-the-art ambulatory care center in partnership with a leading U.S. healthcare provider, joint ventures with tech giants, and the acquisition and development of a luxury resort in Istanbul.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Khatib held pivotal roles in the district cooling and steel industries, including President & CEO of Qatar District Cooling Company (Qatar Cool), where he led the company to industry leadership, operational excellence, and sustained financial growth. His tenure at Charter Steel in the United States saw him manage large-scale operations, engineering projects, and continuous improvement initiatives, consistently achieving production and efficiency targets.
Mr. Khatib holds both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. He has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School, INSEAD, and Georgetown University, among others. He is a USA Officer for the KSF Space Foundation, serves on the Projects Committee of the Highland Foundation, and has held board and executive committee positions with organizations such as Alfardan Medical with Northwestern Medicine and Aliz.
Fluent in English and Arabic, Mr. Khatib is recognized for his expertise in organizational development, strategic planning, financial management, governance, and stakeholder relations. He is a recipient of the Chairman's Award from the International District Energy Association and has been honored with multiple industry accolades for his leadership and contributions to energy and infrastructure development.
